     Dirt Garden has been characterized as having an earthy feel to its 
     general sound. We in Dirt Garden like to think there is a wide 
     range of emotions our music evokes. We don't really believe in 
     labeling ourselves as having any particular sound but Alec's 
     lyrical style does make us recognizable no matter where we go or 
     what we play. We hope to provide you and our many other 
     Dirt Gardeners with an abundance of listening pleasure. Please enjoy
     the few musical selections we have scattered about the site.

     First I would like to apologize for the untimely response. Alec was 
     very ill for some time and recently passed away. Even though our 
     sound might fit very well I'm afraid we will no longer tour. I hope 
     your festivals went well and your future ones do even better.
